New baby born cough

Asked for Male, 1 Years

My 30 days old son having cough from last 10 days. He is having tixylix 20 drop thrice a day and maxtra 5 drops thrice a day. But cough is not going. Soemtime cough sound comes while breathing and otherwise no sound. He does kha kha (khasi) few times a day. His motions are normal running and loosy seed type. He passes urine only when he is awake, color is whitish. He feeds less like only for 15-20 mins.

Cough in small babies are due to viral infection and Can happen due to bronchiolitis which is inflammation of small breathing tubes in lungs.. It may take time to go... say 3 weeks. No cough and cold medicines are effective in this age rather dangerous also. So avoid using it. . If breathing difficulty ,not feeding well or inactive seek medical attention..
