Fears have to be addressed systematically and have to be uprooted from the roots. A counselor can help you work on addressing your fears one by one. Only seeking symptomatic relief won't help you in the long run. Mindfulness activities are good (meditation, traveling to a serene place, hearing to calming music) may give your 'over-driven' brain activity some relaxation, but only resting on mindfulness activities without working on healing the root cause of the fear/anxiety is like protecting the fruits of a tree, when its roots are infested. You are young and certainly, you can do it. Best wishes, Stay Positive Minded!
Next Steps
Visit a counselor near by or seek online therapy to identify the treatment plan, besides engaging into healthy Mindfulness activities
