Neurobion is a medicine containing high dose of vitamin B12 (mecobalamine) along with two more vitamin B complex(pyridoxine and nicotinamide).All these vitamins are required in the body for various functions especially growth and development of nervous system, brain, formation of blood and other tissue, repair of nerve damage. we usually Get all these vitamins in our food on adequate amout. so it is usually not required to take in medicinal form.But in some special conditions vitamin medicines should be taken especially vitamin B12 like in vegeterian people taking less milk or milk products. Because B12 is only present in nonvegeterian foods or in milk but it should be taken as medicines if you have any sypto.s of B12 deficiency or your blood level of B12 is low. non vegeterian people should only take the medicines if there Blood level of Vitamin B12 is low.As such taking these medicines without any indication is unnecessary though don't have much significant side effects
