Neuro endocrine tumour
What does it mean when we say Neuro Endocrine tumours have bad progeny. I have Neuro Endocrine Tumour of Colon Rectal. Finished my Chemoradiation of 25 quarters along with capacitabine tablets. Chemotherapy will start by 26th. What Chemo will be given to me?

Normally adenocarcinoma is found in rectum, though there could be variations.  The neuroendocrine tumour has poor prognosis as compared to adenocarcinoma when compared in same stage group. Let your medical oncologist decide plan of chemotherapy. Usually cisplatin with etoposide is used but there are many other regimens as well
