Nephrotic syndrome
Was diagnosed with neprotic syndrome 1 1/2 yr back.would like to know once in how many months should we need to do the test again  .how should we know there is a relapse . What precaution need to be taken .what should be done if  there is relapse.do we need to blood and urine test regularly .

You should get tested every month initially then every 3 months. Avoid protein rich food and alcohol. Also reduce milk intake. This disease weakens the kidney parenchyma and can reoccur without any warning. Best way to keep a check is to take precautions. Followup with your nephrologist every 6 months.
