My baby is 18 days old and she is diagnosed with Neonatal Hyperbilirunbinemia on Day 2 of life. Here is the brief history of her treatment:
Day 2: Bilirubin 11.76
DSPT was done and baby was discharged on Day 3 at bilirubin level 10.53
Day 6: Bilirubin 23.08
TSPT was done in NICU.
Day 7: Bilirubin 17.65
DSPT was done and baby was discharged on Day 8 at bilirubin level 12.03
Day 13: Bilirubin 17.86
DSPT was done and baby was discharged on Day 14 at bilirubin level 13.82
Baby has gained weight post birth. She is feeding well but she sleeps a lot. It is sometimes very hard to wake her up.
Doctor has advised to wait for 1 month before proceeding with further treatment. However, baby still looks yellow throughout the body. We are concerned that bilirubin level might go high again. Are there any other tests or treatment possible?

Hello
It could be breast feeding jaundice (which will resolve itself ), but need to know other details regarding it such as direct bilirubin and colour of stools .
You should get the baby checked by a Pediatrician again
