Hi i have been pricked by a needle after it was used for injecting a patient..can it lead to hiv

It depend on hiv status of the patient. There is 0.1% chance of getting hiv due to needle prick with positive patient

HELLO, IS THE PATIENT IS RETROPOSITIVE? IF DON'T KNOW THE STATUS ASK DOCTOR FOR HIV TO TESTED? IF TEST RESULTS COMES NEGATIVE NO TENSION.  DON'T PANIC. OK.

Check the patients retrovirus positive ? How many hours after poking the patient did u get a prick ?
