Need suggestion on steriod
Respected sir i was diagnosed with covid on 30/12/21...i had sore throat on 29 th which is my first symptom.. I had fever on 30 th.. Went to doctor and he prescribed medicines.. Had fever around 101 for 2 days.. Took blood test... Crp value is 23 and d dimer is 252... Doctor advised to take medrol 8 mg twice for 5 days.  Fever reduced but cough is there.. Kindly advise can i take steroids now sir... I am into my 4 th day of my infection.. Is it too early.. Pls help..

Steroids should be used in early stage of infection, it will increase the disease. Steroids are taken only in the sever stage of disease. Monitor your spo2 and other vitals, if vitals are normal no need of steroids. Discuss with your treating doctor for query.
