first of all we need to see retina and if retina is normal you can plan monofocal or multifocal
then comes choosing lens
Ideal is to opt for imported monofocal lens and it is usually covered under insurance ranging from 25k to 45K
Multifocal is for both near and far vision
cost varies from 75k- 1.5lk ( Restore, symphony, pan optics or trifocal)
based on patient age systemic condition and his need we can finalize which multifocal is better
The cataract surgery has wide range of pricing depending on the geographical location and type of hospital private or charitable.
Monofocal will improve vision but will need reading or near vision glasses.
Multifocal can eliminate use of glasses mostly but there will be some trade- offs and patient suitability has to be evaluated.
Best person to guide will be your treating doctor.
