My mother is experiencing severe lower side & back pain with nausea. I think it is a symptom of kidney stones, as I had a similar attack last year.
Please advise us on what tests is required. Given the current situation I would like to avoid visiting the hospitals and reduce it to the bare minimum time.

Does she have any urinary complaints, like burning sensation on passing urine as well?? Tests--
Go for USG whole abdomen and X ray KUB. If there has been a history before, then go for NCCT KUB. Get a Serum Creatinine, Srrum Potssium, and urine Rountine microscopy.
Follow up with reports.
