  4. Nail blackening. Me the reason for this?

Hi can anyone please tell me the reason for this? My friend has this since a few months and was advised to apply canazole b lotion twice a day for this. There is some improvement in condition after application. Please advise how this can be taken care of efficiently. Thank you!
