Myomectomy
I had my myomectomy done a month ago(2nd Nov)and got my first period after it yesterday i.e. 3rd December which is very very heavy. The fibroid that was taken out was an intramural one of 12X15cms and had made me very anaemic. But I was given blood transfusion before the surgery and have been fine since being operated upon. Please tell me why my period is still so heavy. I soak a pad every 2 hours.

If your bleeding more than 3-4 days heavily take Tab Trapic MF four times a day and decrease the dose as bleeding decreases until periods stop . If this repeats again in your next cycle consult your doctor .
