1)myasthenia graves (MG ) is a auto immune disease. 2) the antibodies in body damage or destroy the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. 3) so treatment includes acetylcholine esterase inhibitors ( pyridostigmine) immuno-suppressors ( prednisolone) and plasmapheresis. 4) If patient does not respond to above treatment then thymectomy is the last reserve.
