My touch to upper palate
Dear doctor Why my tounge is touching to upper palate...I mean to say today i feel like my tounge need to touch upper palate... Feeling uncomfortable Rest is fine Thank you

It is the relative position of the tongue. First of all, the palate is only one and that is the upper palate (hard palate and soft palate). There is no lower palate. Secondly the tongue is at a lower level, just below the palate. If it doesn't touch the palate, what else can it touch ?

Movements of toung are under your voluntary control,it moves only when you allow it to move, may be you are having dryness in mouth or mouth ulcer Or infection
