My toe nail fell off

Asked for Female, 23 Years

Iam 7 months pregnant my toe nail got hurt a year ago started getting green from one corner i used to trim that part i thought it will b ok but after bath today it fell off , some portion of nail left over how can i protect it from infection or fungus I don't knw why it fell off suddenly . what should i do now as home remedies
