Hello doctor,
I am facing a weird problem these days. My daughter has just turned 2 and she is throwing excessive tantrums. She gets angry very easily and if I tell her no, she cries for 30 minutes and bangs her head badly. This happens every now and then.
She is quite intelligent but I feel this anger issue of her is making me crazy .
I have lost my patience completely now and I am on the verge of getting mad.
Please help.

The best way to handle temper tantrums is to IGNORE the child for that duration.
If you give in,it only helps to reinforce the behavior.
I know it's difficult, but once ignored, and on realization that the tantrums are not going to get her what she wants, she'll stop.
