My son of age 1 month isn't sleeping
My son of age 1 month isn't sleeping in the nights and is crying a lot. He appears to be frightened and is crying for unknown reason. We have given him Cholicaid drops 4 in the noon and was given Neopeptin drops 6 twice daily. His stools are normal. He cries a lot in the nights only. Kindly advice

At 30 - 45 days of life most babies get evening colic ( Pain in stomach - Cause still not clearly understood), which gets worst during evening and night. Colicaid can help but its only for that moment. Dont worry its not a major disease and will go off in few days. A gentle rocking helps some times. No other medication required.

ALL babies have colic for first 3-4 months of life, more so in evening and night time,it's NORMAL,not a medical condition. Just ensure breastfeeding at a gap of atleast 2-1/2 hours, nothing else by mouth, burp him for atleast 10 mins after every feed. Do the same when he's crying in evening and night time due to colic,do NOT give feeds at that time, unless the gap advised has passed. No medicine is required.
