My son is 3.9 yrs.
He has cold and cough. Doctor has advised alerid and ventryl syrup. Cold has come down but cough is troubling. His chest feels congested with phlegm. Doctor suggested give S mucolite. Kindly suggest.

advised steam inhalation . take care of hot water. handle it carefully.or best it touse hot water tap. open fine thin stream of water , carry your chil on shoulder and take steam by breathing it. for 10 minutes.. if not relieved do TLC
