Maxtra contains some combination drugs, and one of it is known to cause sedation. This is known side effect and you dont have to worry.
But, if child is not eating anything then you need to check his hydration status.
make sure he pass Urine atleast 4-5 times in 24 hrs, and its not yellow.
Morever, illness leads to weakness and child looses interest in surrounding and bodyache in illness is major factor which child cant explain.
I hope you are giving Paracetamol along with maxtra for fever, which will treat fever and bodyache.
Next Steps
If child is excessivley sleepy, not eating at all and Irritable, then kindly contact doctor ASAP.
