Hi,
One of my relative is suffering from a respiratory issue for quite few months. So she went to hospital to check her problem. After taking several test she was informed that there is a fluid in her left lung over 3 litter. During procedure only 1and1/2 litres were taken out. Then they took PetCT scan in that result it was found she was diagnosed by lung cancer.
Now my question is will this fluid secretion continuous to secret? In that case do we need to clear this fluid often? What is the further procedure to clear this?

Send that pleural fluid for cytology and cell block, and go for IHC MARKER test.
