My mom having COPD and cardiomegaly
Hi,
Before 15 days, my mom admitted in hospital due to covid.. but already she has COPD. Because of this, now she has grossly dialated pulmonary artery, right atrium and ventricle. Her heart beat is always more than 100.. Is this normal?
Please guide me... She is taking medicines prescribed by pulmologist for lungs problem... Can i need to visit cardiologist?

She has primary disease COPD which has affected her heart as well and she has developed a condition called cor pulmonale. Though Pulmonologist consider and give treatment for that also it will be good to meet a cardiologist for a better opinion. Treatment modification may make her symptoms and day to day life better.
