It may be due to allergic condition embedded by secondary infection, you can put antibiotic eye drops 4-5 times till you consult ophthmologist ( vigamox eye drops).

I can understand your concern.
It could be a infection of the eye.
You could hwve attached a picture of it so that we could have had a better idea.
You can use ciplox eye drops 1 drop 4-5 times a day and consult a ophthalmologist in person for further evaluation and management.
