My father has mild conc LVH and bp
Hello Doctor My father had bp for a long time and had been on meds.. recently for few months his bp was spiking up constantly and we took an ecg,echo which showed mild concentration lvh and has been taking the attached meds now... he also has trouble sleeping and meds are given for tht too... still he has some sleeping issues would he require any surgery or can this be stabilised over meds... What would be the ideal next step to take

Nothing to worry.Conc LVH is due to his hypertension. Continue antihypertensive medication. Repeat ECHO after 6 months.

Do not obsess over mild concentric LVH. It does not require any surgery. Just keep the BP under control with lifestyle changes and adequate medicines. Concentric LVH is just because of his high BP. It doesn't need any surgery. He just needs a good BP control thats it. Consult with all his recent BP readings for deciding modification of BP medicines
