My 6 years has a fever ! It's urgent
Hi, My daughter is 6 years 9 months old and her weight is 18 kg. She has been suffering from fever since yesterday afternoon. High grade fever 101-103. She also has a mouth ulcer not able to eat. Her neck is also in pain. Problem in swallowing food. The doctor prescribed her Rebagen 100 mg mix with honey and give her once a day. My question is- is Rebagen 100 mg safe for my child.? Can I give it to her directly with water ? Also her fever is not lowering with calpol 250 or dolo 250. The doctor gave her ibugesic plus 6.5 ml. Please confirm the dose for her as well. I just need a second opinion. Thank you

Okay, I understand your concern. Could you please share some photos of her oral ulcers? If possible, I would also suggest a video consultation so that we can discuss her symptoms in detail. During this season, many kids are developing hand-foot-mouth disease, which is a progressive condition. Since she just had fever yesterday, it could be something that is progressing in that direction, so we’ll need to discuss that as well.
