My 3.5 years old only drinks milk
My 3.5years old boy only drinks milk.I offer him variety of food but he don't want to even taste them. He is only on milk and doesn't drink juice too. Do i need to worry about him? Or should i keep giving him milk considering that gradually he will start eating someday Kindly suggest. If i don't give him milk, he is hungry all the day and will irritate and cry.But he won'teat anything else. I am really worried!!

What is weight of child?? if weight is on the lower side, It is a problem.. IF baby remains on milk based diet , it hampers his brain growth also, as it is highly likely that your baby will be iron deficient. You need to be firm regarding eating habits... Baby knows that he has to be cranky and cry and he will get milk... so that habit need to be broken.. you need to be firm... You can visit your child specialist and discuss in detail.. IF you want a 2nd opinion you can come to my clinic, I can also guide you... (details can be found on practo itself). DO not ignore it, it will have long term consequences, not only on nutritional aspects and growth; but also in terms of behavioral issues later on as the child grows older. you can also like and follow my facebook page for updates regarding general health issues of children. https://www.facebook.com/mayaclinic.in or Website: http://mayaclinic.in/wpsite/ (copy paste the link in browser to read on)
