My 2.3 Years child has Fever from 8 days
My 2.3 years child has fever from last 8 days. 1st 5 days it was high fever, after every 4-5 hrs body temperature was increasing to 105. After 3 days of fever my Dr started given him antibiotics and asked for blood test (TYPHI, CBC, Malaria, WIDAL). In blood test every thing was normal only hemoglobin was 7.5. My Dr is saying it is viral fever. After 2 days of taking antibiotics we seen some improvement and fever frequencies got decreased. Now it is after every 8-10 hrs body temperature is 101. After 8 days in every 8-10 hrs fever is repeating. Please suggest.

Please review with your pediatrician again. Repeat certain test again like CBC,CRAP,SGOT,SgPT,urine, Malaria parasites. Blood culture if it's not done,do x-ray chest and Mantoux test on left forearm for TB
