Muscle cramps

Asked for Male, 40 Years

I am under medication for fever for the last 24 hrs. Since then I am getting frequent muscle cramps and the last bout was quite painful. I drank 3 glasses of electrol water before it subsided. Are the two (fever medications and cramps) related? Should I continue with electrol/coconut water to settle the cramp?
