Mumps in 2 years old
He's been getting medicated on mumps since past one week. Everything was normal after medication started, medication is of one week course. Today he got fever. My question is in the incubation period of mumps will a child get fever even after getting medications?

Since it's a viral infection,no medicine will help.
Only symptomatic treatment is indicated,i.e paracetamol for fever and pain,can be repeated 4 hourly if required.
Yes,fever can occur due to a different viral infection OR superadded bacterial infections.
