About mumps
Hi my sisters daughter is now 7 year and she got infected with mumps and i have a son how is 7 month old she we leave in same house she use to play with him but now what should I do I know that it is contagious plz suggest what are the methods so the I can protect my 7 month baby by mumps is it dangerous to my baby if he get infected

Yes it is very contagious. Since baby will get mumps vaccine at 9 months. Dont leave baby with infected child

Yes the baby can get infected. Isolate the child with mumps for 10 days. Keep your baby away from him. But mumps is rare at 7 months as baby is protected by mother's milk. So chance is less
