Multiple sclerosis
I have been taking weekly interferon beta 1a injections since may. But for the last few days I have been feeling weakness in legs and difficulty in balancing body. One doctor told that it is myalgia. Another told to meet doctor. My appointment with a local renowned neurologist is on 24 Oct. Feeling restless,purplexed and broken as even after so much is being spent again i am feeling like i was feeling during diagnosis. Please suggest what to do

I can totally relate to your suffering. If you have any new symptom, you have to consult your neurologist immediately...As you may be having a relapse? which can improve with injectable steroid medication...Be strong...Multiple sclerosis is known to have relapses and remission...Some patients have less stormy course of disease...Hope for the best....Continue medications and regular exercises...
