Hi,
Mucus in stool along with bile vomiting in ur 4-yrChihuahua could be a sign of gastritis, intestinal irritation, mild infection, dietary intolerance or even internal parasites. While occasional vomiting may happen in small breeds, persistent symptoms over 2–3 d should nt be ignored.
What you can do at home temporarily,,Feed small, frequent meals of easily digestible food like plain boiled chicken and rice.AVOID giving any rich treats or dairy products.
You may give antacid once daily on an empty stomach(Check doses with ur vet, typically smaller doses 5mg for small breeds) for stomach acid relief. You can also use a probiotic to suport gut health.
However, if vomiting continues or your dog becomes lethargic or refuses to eat, I strongly advise a veterinary visit. A stool test, blood work, or abdominal exam may be needed to rule out serious causes. Wishing ur little one a speedy recovery,,
