The symptoms you are describing-persistent dizziness, episodes of double vision, weakness, and recent fever-should not be ignored, especially since they are increasing despite taking medication. While routine blood tests being normal is reassuring to some extent, these neurological-type symptoms (particularly double vision and worsening dizziness) can be related to issues involving the inner ear, nervous system, or sometimes post-viral effects. High cholesterol is not directly responsible for these symptoms in the short term.
This presentation requires proper clinical evaluation rather than symptomatic treatment alone. You should consult a physician or neurologist at the earliest for a detailed examination. Further tests such as blood pressure evaluation (including postural BP), blood sugar, vitamin B12 levels, and possibly neuroimaging like MRI brain may be required depending on clinical findings.
Next Steps
For now, ensure adequate hydration, proper nutrition, and avoid sudden position changes. However, do not delay medical consultation, especially if double vision persists, dizziness worsens, or if you develop additional symptoms like headache, vomiting, imbalance while walking, or weakness in limbs. Early evaluation is important to rule out any significant underlying cause and initiate appropriate treatment.
