MRI with metal cap on tooth
My doctor has advised me MRI Brain as I have recurring headaches. Now I have a metal cap in one of my wisdom teeth which was placed after an RCT Questions: - Can I get the MRI done while having the metal cap in place? - Can the metal cap cause me injury or affect the quality of the MRI? - Can I get it removed before the MRI and put it back on after the MRI? - Is it advisable to switch to a porcelain cap for the MRI? Thanks in advance for your replies
