MRI scan for my sister
How can we avoid the sound during brain MRI?? Especially when having the problem of phobia in hearing loud sounds (phonophobia). She is very anxious about the sounds and denying to take the test again. How to make sure that she's not listening to loud noise during MRI.

Hello You need not worry at all. Give this information to the radiologist and they will arrange for sedation during the procedure. Else a mild sedative will be given half hr before the procedure to calm your nerves Even cliden can undergo such procedures with help of sedation so you need not worry.
