MRI question
Hi, I have jaw pain under ear lobe and neck for 14 months now. Seen an oral surgeon and he sent me for jaw MRI. Had an MRI yesterday. I was keep closing my mouth all the time. And the tech gave me some popsicle sticks pile to bite on to capture open mouth position. I couldn't take those sticks out after the MRI. She was telling me to take it out. I couldn't. It felt like those sticks stuck with my front teeth in the upper jaw. The sticks stuck and couldn't open my mouth wider than that to take those out. I have limited mouth opening. I moved my lower jaw left and right to take those sticks out. Then I am able to close the mouth. I was keep closing my eyes all the time. Since this sticks was stuck , I opened my eyes to see and take it out. But I was inside the machine that time and couldn't bend my head down though. I could see only top of the machine. Is it ok to open the eyes during MRI? Is it harmful for eyes to open during the MRI? Thanks for reading this post.
