Hi Doctor..
Hi Doctor, my grandfather passed away aged 77 in 2010 due to esophagus cancer but he never smoked. Since then I have developed this trauma about cancer. Now I am 27 and for the last 10 years I have been a moderate smoker (5-6 cigs a day on avg). Also I had an habit of smoking weed. But thankfully, I have complete quit both of these since 1 month. 6-7 months before due to my sedentary lifestyle and eating habits I had few episodes of acid reflux and was treated by a gastro specialist and was prescribed with certain medications. After consuming it I became alright and gastric issues don't occur to me now.. but I am always worried thinking that as because I have this issue of acid reflux then I might develop cancer as well. This feeling is really scary and I might sound psychic but I know what goes inside me. I have spondylitis also due to which my neck and shoulder region remains a little heavy all the time. Overall I am really scared. What should I do?

Hello , I do understand your query. Looks like you are having a post traumatic response . I suggest meeting a psychologist who will desensitise you . Regards.
