Ection from right side buccal mucosa biopsy shows irregular acanthosis of the squamous mucosa with hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis. There is focal basal cell degeneration. Upper subepithelium shows band like infiltrate predominantly composed of lymphocytes along with thin walled vessels. Features are consistent with lichen planus. There is no evidence of dysplasia/malignancy in the biopsy submitted Section from left side buccal mucosa shows hyperplastic stratified squamous epithelium. Subepithelium shows mild chronic inflammation. There is no evidence of dysplasia or malignancy in the biopsy submitted Please help us to identify this description of biopsy report.

As per the biopsy report, you are having a lesion which is very common off late called 'Lichen Planus". U need to see a consultant, who will suggest some medicines for controlling the lesion, and also u need to control your stressed mind if at all Also u have not mentioned if, u r diabetic and hypertensive patient and your medication, which makes it sense for a doctor to treat your condition. You don't have to worry about cancer.
