Mouth breathing problem
I an facing problem of mouth breathing and in turn dry mouth in morning. Sometimes I need to wake up around 4am with dry mouth problem. Due to this my throat becomes sore also. Am I facing problem of sleeping apnea. I am facing this problem from only last around 5 months. I gained around 5kg weight during this time. I checked with ENT consultant and he told me to go for surgery of nose and asked me to have CT scan. I wanted to check do I really need to go for surgery or there any problem related to breathing?

First try weight reduction. But what is your BMI ? Ask your bed partner about your snoring . if you are snoring, get a "sleep study" done before undergoing the surgery. Dr sandeep Dachuri
