Mother HEP b +
Found out that my wife is hep b + when she got pregnant Now we were advised that HBIG and HEP b vaccine be given within 12 hours of birth but for some reason or so it didn't happen. We were able to provide both HBIG and HEP b vaccine at the 60th hour birth. she is 9 months old now and i am very much worried whether she has acquired the disease from her mother or not?

Hello , As you said, giving the immunoglobulin within 12 hours gives best result , but don't worry , you can check the baby's hepatitis b status by checking HBsAg and Anti HBs. It can be done from 9 to 18 months of age.
