Mood swings & depression (Student)
I am a student. So I too have desires, goals and dreams to be successful etc etc. When I think of these I get very optimistic and energised to achieve that. But when I look at myself I see unsuccessful, unskilled ,lazy person who is worth nothing.Thoughts like 'I can't do that', 'I am not as intelligent as him','I don't have time left now' etc makes me depressed and I waste days to overcome the feeling. My mood & energy dives deep from optimism to depression. Kindly help ,I can't live like that

Yes, you have rightly diagnosed the problem yourself......the moment you belittle your self, you kind of freeze...you cannot move ahead.... Instead the best way to deal with this is tell your self.."I am only 21 and have the capacity to reach my target, the only person I need to  compete is myself" Comparison with others very often does not help one, as each person has different Personality and coping strategy....so set goals differently...where am I today??? Tomorrow I will be 10 steps ahead.....that way you will make progress feel motivated and not depression

There is a difference between "Wish" and "Goal". Wish is something you wanted to do. Whereas,  Goal is something,  you have a plan and efforts and actions are in place towards the Goal..
