  4. Mono symptoms returning. Run its course?

Mono symptoms returning
I caught mono a couple weeks ago, and at this point the symptoms have mostly died down, aside from a sore throat. This morning I woke up with neck pain, and a gland or lymph node near my jaw feels swollen. Is it normal for the more painful symptoms of mono to come back like this when it seemed like the infection had nearly run its course?
