Monkey bite remedy
My husband has got a monkey bite on last Thursday, they have given the necessary vaccination and medicine. However, we have a query for daily cleaning the wound and dressing. After cleaning with betadine and savlon, and applying Neosporin skin ointment, should the wound is to be kept completely open or it has to be covered with sterile cotton gauge? Wanted to know if the procedure followed is correct. Help would be much appreciated. Attached is the picture of the wound before and after dressing. TIA.

Open dressing is quite good. If fomites are there , can cover up with gently with sterile gauge piece. But not so tight.
