Mometasone+fusidic acid
I have a query, i had a severe acne on face, local doctor suggested me to use mometasone+ fusidic acid with some oral drugs, my acne problem solved but I noticed while using mometasone and fusidic acid my skin got brighter, so I continued that ointment which was in 0.1%. w/w (mometasone) concentration, i do kept a gap of 1-2 months but still its been 2 years , I am afraid if i stop, will i be experiencing TSW?? Will my skin get more dark that it was before? Please tell me, although i have stopped it from today! So.. please help me doctor

Don't use steroids for acne. It damages your skin. Mometasone is a steroid

Please stop using mometasone cream as it contains strong steroids which can cause serious side effects in the long run. It is not meant to be used for pimples. Steroid induced acne, photosensitivity, rosacea, atrophy, stretch marks, pigmentation, dryness etc to name a few side effects. Please don't use any such Steroid containing fairness creams. You will require treatment to slowly put you off this cream by using some substitute as the skin becomes addicted to the steroid. Hence you are facing such a problem. Please call me or send photos through online consult option for proper examination and treatment.,,,

The cream that you are using is extremely dangerous and has side effects if you use it like this on the face. Moreover, it is a completely wrong medication to use for acne. Please consult a dermatologist only for your skin concern. With a proper consult, you can wean your skin off the steroid and improve your skin as well.
Next Steps
consult a dermatologist- online or offline

You shouldn’t stop a steroid cream asap. It has to be tapered using milder forms. I’ve dealt with a lot of Steroid abuse patients and it needs a proper approach. Use moisturiser and sunscreen in the day, use a mild cleanser like episoft. Fungal, bacterial and demodex also need to be controlled as all these would have multiplied while using steroids while not showing symptoms.
Next Steps
Kindly consult a dermatologist experienced in treating these cases.
