Mom's PCR reports shows +ve aftr 21 days
Is it fine if rt pcr is postive even after 21 days. My mom is 68 years old and was tested covid on 25th April. She is diabetic and taking insulin. Her ct scan value was 12/25 on 28th April..we thought she is recovering however PCR reports says she is still postive. Last week also she was positive. Pls suggest next course of action.thanks.

Rtpcr can be positive even after recovery in few patients.... monitor spo2 regularly...if spo2 is normal and she has no symptoms then there is nothing to worry
