Mom feeling suffocated and suicidal
My mom is aged around 55, she is living with me, my wife and kid away from her home town along with my dad. 3 days back she started crying, and was getting fainted multiple times saying that “I want to run away from this place, I feel suffocated, I don’t want to live any more and I was thinking of running away in the night" She is having problem in sleeping and eating since than and her daily routine is also disturbed- for eg. she is someone who can't stay without bathing during the day but today she didn't feel like bathing. I tried to talk to her in detail, the max she told me is that she is feeling like this whenever she comes here (since last 2yrs, for the initial week after coming from our home town she feels normal post that this feeling starts growing day by day) and this is the first time she has told us about this thing. What should we do?

She seems to be under high stress because of some particular issue. Take her to a professional psychologist who will help her to diagnose the cause of displaced anxiety which she is exhibiting in the form of disturbed behaviour.

Take her to a psychologist. Probably, she might be able to share her feelings and and emotions to a professional.
