Mocormycosis fear
Is TOTAL 4mg consumption of decadan(dexamethasone) is excess ?
I was given 0.50 mg decadan for 4 days, BD= total 4 mg. Home isolation, normal conditions.
Can it induce any issue given person is non-diabetic (fasting 90, 110 post meal) and has normal immunity level(no other issues).
Please note that meds were taken 2 MONTHS back.(April last week).
Can it show it's affect after 2 months too??
I don't have any issues after recovery(2 MONTHS BACK).

You have consume drugs two months back for short time and you don’t have any comorbidity. At present you not having any problems too . So don’t you worry about it at all . Mucormycosis comes to few morbid patients only and is environmental and hygiene related mainly

It's unlikely to get Mucormycosis with this.
Yes , but have a check on your blood glucose levels. Diet , exercise and periodic health check check up should be done to monitor your sugars.
Also maintain good immunity by including antioxidants daily in diet.

Not a high dose given over 4 days
Still the risk of future diabetes depends on diet, exercise, family history and lifestyle. Periodic health check ups and screening required
