Missed Periods
Hi...i generally don't have any issues with my periods,i had my last periods approximately in the first week of September,i don't  remember the exact dates. As per that i am supposed to get my periods now,which i haven't. I know for sure i'm not pregnant. What should i do now?

Thank you for your question. Many women experience variation in the timing of their periods at some time and if you are not sexually active you can wait up to two weeks before seeing your gynaecologist.  I understand that you do not feel you are pregnant. However, if you have had even a single episode of unprotected intercourse you can be at risk of an unwanted pregnancy.  If a pregnancy test is negative when your period is delayed by a week you can wait another two weeks before repeating it if you still do not get a bleed. If that is negative too you will need to see a gynaecologist who will examine you and prescribe tablets so you can get a bleed. hope this helps
