Missed period negative results

Asked for Female, 40 Years

Hi I'm 40 years of age never been pregnant never missed a period until now saw my last period on 25th June it lasted 5 days as normal and I haven't seen my period for July and we r in the month of August I took a 1 pound home test today it was negative Wat shall I do
