Dear Ms. Soma Chakraborty, Thank you for reaching out regarding your missed Hepatitis B vaccination dose. The standard Hepatitis B vaccination schedule follows a 0, 1, and 6-month timeline. Missing a dose can disrupt this schedule, but it does not necessarily mean you need to start over from the beginning. Here’s what you can do: 1. **Continue the Vaccination**: You can continue with the next dose as soon as possible. There is no need to restart the entire series. The immune system will still respond to the subsequent doses, although the protection might be slightly delayed. 2. **Consult a Healthcare Provider**: It is important to discuss your specific situation with a healthcare provider to ensure that you receive the appropriate guidance and to confirm that your immune response is adequate. I recommend scheduling a consultation to review your vaccination history and to plan the remaining doses appropriately. Please feel free to reach out to me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two to discuss further or to book an appointment.
