Hepatitis b vaccination
I am male 38, no hep b or c detected till now...  mother is 60 hep b reactive but nil viral load. queries :- 1. is vaccine available? can i go for vaccination now? 2. a general physician can do this vaccination or gastro doctor ? 3. two year back i proceed for hep b vaccination and took 2 doses of vacc ination but could not complete all  3 doses. can i have to take all 3 doses again usually now or only third/last dose will suffice?

Better go 3 doses starting with 0,1,6 month intervals. Any qualified doctor can give this vaccine.

If you have taken 2 doses already, you can get your antibody levels checked. If it's adequate, a booster dose will suffice. If levels are below par, then you need to go for all 3 doses.
